This four-day Class IPC-A-610 CIT (Certified
IPC Trainer) training program will train, test, and certify participants to serve as
CIT. Participants who complete the course and pass the examination will receive formal certification as
CIT from IPC, and will be qualified to instruct for
Certified IPC Application Specialist (CIS) training.
Who should attend: Operators, inspectors, supervisors or engineers responsible for ensuring the quality Electronic Assemblies at receiving, in-process or final inspection.
Class Times:
Day 1 – 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Day 2 – 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Day 3 – 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Day 4 – 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Topics:
- Criteria for acceptable laminate conditions.
- Soldered connection requirements for plated through holes.
- Surface mounting criteria for chip components, leadless and leaded chip carriers.
- Swaged hardware, and heat sink requirements of mechanical assemblies.
- Component mounting criteria for DIPS, socket pins, and card edge connectors.
- Discrete wiring assembly requirements.
- Through hole and surface mounting component soldering requirement and criteria.
